📖 Domino Rules on Tasbazi
Game Setup
Domino on Tasbazi is played 1 vs 1. At the start of each hand, each player receives tiles and the remaining tiles stay in the boneyard. Three hand formats are available:
- 1 Hand: Each player draws 7 tiles — quick single round
- 3 Hands: Scores accumulate across three rounds
- 5 Hands: Best over five rounds — ideal for longer matches
How to Play
The player with the highest double tile starts. On each turn, a player must place a tile matching one of the two open ends of the chain. If no playable tile exists:
- Draw Mode: Draw from the boneyard until a playable tile is found
- Block Mode: Turn passes to the opponent — no drawing allowed
Scoring
The first player to place all tiles wins the hand and scores points equal to the total pip value of the opponent's remaining tiles. The match continues until one player reaches 101 points. If both players are blocked, the player with the lower pip count wins the round.
🎯 Winning Strategies for Online Domino
Play Doubles Early
Double tiles are the hardest to play since they only match one number. Getting them out early prevents you from getting stuck with high-value tiles.
Dump Heavy Tiles When Behind
If you sense you might lose, prioritize playing your highest-value tiles first to minimize the points your opponent scores from your hand.
Control the Open Ends
If you hold multiple tiles with a certain number, keep that end open to maximize your future play options.
Play Tighter in Block Mode
No drawing means every move matters more. Steer open ends toward numbers you know your opponent is short on.
Read Your Opponent
Track which tiles your opponent plays and which turns they pass. Use that information to deduce their hand and block them effectively.
Domino is more than luck
"The best Domino players win by reading their opponent's hand, not just playing their own tiles."
Domino FAQ
What is the difference between Draw and Block mode?

How many points does it take to win?
The first player to reach 101 points wins the match. If both players are blocked, the player with the lower pip count in hand wins that round.
